Notes: Used 24" Southern Coastal Machinery Pilot Meltblown Line equipped with 2.5" U.S.E. Extruder (24:1, 4-zone electrically heated, air cooled, 20 HP motor, vacuum receiver and 40kg hopper), electrically heated manual screen changer, melt pump (electronic melt pressure transducers with monitoring tied to variable speed drive), transfer pipe with inline mixer, 24" stainless steel meltblown die (35 holes per inch, 0.007" - 0.025" hole diameter, 10:1 hole L/D, SST air plate, bolt kit, cleaning kit, fixed set back/air gap), 35 kW air heater, 450 CFM blower, stainless steel forming screen with manual DCD, electostatic charger, five (5) slitting blades for edge trim, trim removal, surface winder with pneumatic tension control, HMI. This line was running with MF650Y PP Flakes to produce meltblown for healthcare purposes at approximately 25 to 28 GSM. The line was designed as a multi purpose unit and can be used for running many types of Thermoplastic materials such as Nylon, polyester other than PP.
