Notes: Used Anguil Model 75 Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer with random packed heat transfer media for obtaining 98% volatile organic compound destruction efficiency. Designed for operation with process flow from 2,000 - 6,000 SCFM (typical 4,000 SCFM); 194 F - 356 F (90 C - 180 C) process temperature; 6 lb/hr - 50 lb/hr max without bypass or 300 lb/hr with bypass VOC concentration; design based on VOCs of toluene, MEK, ethyl acetate, IPA, trace amounts of heptane; installed burner capacity is gas at 2-5 psig; 80 - 100 psig compressed air required. PLC controlled air flow direction cycling, fresh air inlet with PLC controlled modulating damper, process fan with 37kw TEFC motor, Allen-Bradley Powerflex variable frequency drive to regulate air flow, two (2) PLC controlled poppet style process air diverter valve assemblies, two energy recovery chambers, two (2) beds of high temperature chemical porcelain random packed heat transfer media, inverted "U" shaped oxidation chamber, MaxonMinemac gas burners (installed maximum capacity: 2.0 MMBTU/hr (586 kW), 30' tall carbon steel exhaust stack with EPA test ports, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC, Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 600 HMI. 415/3/50.
